Quiet implements

Which do you love? Which do you hate? Which are effective? Which are delightfully noisy? Which have the utility of a wet noodle?

Quiet implements

Postby newtottwd » Fri Jun 10, 2011 5:32 am

We are in search of something that can not be heard as easily as a belt or hand. We have others in the house and summer has hit, therefore we need to be more discreet. We can turn the tv up, but spanking is a very identifiable sound, lol. So I was wondering if anyone here had used something that wasn't as noisy but would still make a lasting point on a sit spot :)

How did you find the board?: I googled domestic discipline discussions and this forum came up in the top half of the list.

The wooden spoon and cane are both pretty quiet---- I think generally things with a smaller point of impact are quieter. The problem is ME staying quiet, even when the implement does!

How did you find the board?: I'm new to the "reality" of being spanked, and have been Googling everything possible to explore.

The cane and the "loopy thing" are pretty quiet.

Thank you for ideas! My husband found a 'urethane cutting rubber'... it is quiet, but very effective. (a cutting rubber is used in the printing industry to keep a blade that is cutting paper from dulling) We plan on fashioning a 'loopy thing', and a couple other implements and trying them out to see which works best for us!
Thank you again!!! I would have never thought the spoon.. but it is on our list, lol.

Try making a looping thing out of an old USB cord and broom handle.....

I think they're suggesting that for a handle. I find that wrapping duct tape around the ends works pretty well to make a handle for it, or duct tape and a piece of an old towel if you want more padding for the handle.

To me a broom handle would be at least 4 feet long. Does broom mean something else in the US?

My impression was that they would saw off a section of the broom handle, not that they would use the whole thing. I still think that wrapping duct tape is easier, though.

The cane, every time!

My wife used to use her hairbrush to spank me, but that was too noisy when our kids were getting older. We already had a rattan cane which was kept for special occasions when I had to be given stricter discipline, so that became her implement of choice. It makes a delicious whisper and a relatively quiet "Whap!", much quieter than the hairbrush but more stingy-burny.

A good caning works very well for us. When I have to be disciplined I prefer its clean bite on my bare bottom, so if I am given the choice (as happens sometimes!) I always choose to be caned.

My wife's favourite cane (she has three) is the thin whippy rattan one with the crook handle, which I made for her myself. My bottom has got to know it VERY well!
