If you want to join the board

Okay, gonna try to make it easier. All you have to do is have something somewhere in your member information when you sign up that clearly indicates that you are not a spammer. For instance, have a username that is something other than a string of random letters. If your email address is a .ru, .cn, .us or similar address, or if it otherwise looks spam-like (ie, yourname@buy-cialis-mp3-teen-lesbian.com), make SURE to choose a username that indicates you're not a spammer. Actually, come to think of it, if your email address looks like a spam-generator, why not sign up for a free account with gmail, hotmail, yahoo, or one of those companies, and use THAT to join?

Anyhow, you don't have to send an email to get activated on the board unless it's been more than a couple of days and your account wasn't activated. If that happens, send me an email, and let me know your username and email, so I can activate it.

I'd like to make it easier for people to join, and I worry that I'm deleting legitimate accounts, but I really don't want the hassle of having to go through and delete a bunch of spam. And I have *got* to assume most of the ones I'm assuming are spammers really are. If you're not, I apologize. Send an email to jigsaw(dot)analogy(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll activate your account.

I think another sure sign is people who have a website attached to their name in the member list, that is obviously nothing to do with the topic!

not sure which of the latest round of probable spammers is more amusing to me: the person who chose the username "bonuscasinosex" or the one whose signature is "picture of genital wart in the vagina." NOT the actual picture, just the text *saying* it.

um, right. not gonna activate those accounts (or the people whose "occupation" is "internet marketing." if your occupation really is internet marketing, but you're not a spammer, then just don't mention it, folks. ok?)

and now i'm imagining how one would *get* bonuscasinosex. is this a feature of slot machines? or do you have to play a card game?
